A land fit for heroes?

THE might of foreign armies did not defeat them yet the threat of a few numbskulls who purport to be Blues or Villa fans is set to leave their plans in tatters.

How shameful that the Firs branch of the Royal British Legion has been forced to cancel its Remembrance Day parade because the police needed to provide roadblocks will instead be busy ensuring that afternoon's local derby passes free of trouble.

The derby should never have been arranged for a day when much of the nation gathers to remember those who made sacrifices so that we could live in peace and prosperity.

But how sad that police are needed to separate gangs of soccer fans who have no better way to spend the day than seeking to attack each other.

Our old soldiers must barely recognise the nation they served.

D Toozer:

You have got it all wrong. It was Sky and the police's decision to put the game to Sunday, nothing to do with Blues and Villa. If the police can't cope, they are to blame.

Are you going to teh pub or watching at home this weekend?

Let's hope we get to Wembley again with a win this weekend

I’m really content with the attention to detail of this website. But to get on subject, I had computer troubles and I downloaded some great registry repair kits, and have been a big supporter of them ever since! I’m glad we see the big picture, and I would appreciate it if you could guest post on my blog right here: Best Registry Cleaner

Although I do trust we did go to the moon, I’m kinda frustrated that the 1st human to walk the moon is still living during our lifespan and is a complete hermit, and has been ever since he got back from that rock! He should be out using that legislative act selling space exploration through Congress so financial backing of the space programme can be back to what it was….
