BULLIES once struck in playgrounds and on street corners, but today they are more inventive.
They use text messages, websites and emails to make life miserable for their victims.
So-called cyber-bullying is no less damaging and we welcome moves by the government, mobile phone firms and internet operators.
Let us pull the plug on bullies – wherever they lurk.

Cyber bullying is a shocking new phenomenon and is arguably harder to stamp out than more 'traditional' bullying - due in part to the possible anonymity of the internet. It will be interesting to see how people come up with ways to crack down on this.
