Durham 178 for 3, now just 61 behind. Coetzer 58, Benkenstein 38.
Streak and Harris are wheeling away but the batsmen are content to defend the good balls and work around the others.
"It's not looking good for the Bears at the moment," a press-box sage has just observed with ever-so-slight under-statement.

Brian, what suggestions do you have for the Bears regarding taking 22 wickets in a match? The bowling attack is desperately lacking in penetration (as it has been for a while) but recently it appears to be becoming a serious problem since Stein departed.

The Bears will do exceptionally well to take 22 wickets in a match! You can only get 20!
Personally, I'd bring back Frank Foster and Frank Field.

Oops, typo there.
I presume you don't mean Frank Field, Labour Member of Parliament for Birkenhead?

Frank Foster MP would probably take more wickets.
