Callisthenics, rice krispies and Ronnie Corbett

Bit of cloud cover this morning so the ball should swing for Warwickshire's bowlers. They need brisk wickets. The way they are batting at the moment any deficit of around 100 could be decisive.

The Bears players are indulging in some callisthenics on the outfield. I had rice krispies for the first time in 25 years this morning - they haven't lost their magic I can tell you. Meanwhile, at the posh end of the hotel market, a Ronnie Corbett lookalike is staying at Warwickshire's team hotel.

Paul:

Did they Snap, Crackle and Pop?
I think you should take a plunge on Coca Pops tomorrow. They're the future.....

Timothy Lumsden:

How do they know it's not the real Ronnie Corbett?
Were his jokes actually funny?

brian:

They did snap and pop. If I have one criticism it would be a slight lack of activity on the crackle front.
It has been confirmed that it was not yer actual genuine Ronnie Corbett article. Incidentally, Mr C. wrote one of the most charming and generous-spirited autobiographies of all time. Read it if you can.

alan from the village:

Can Mr Corbett bowl?

Paul:

Take it Ronnie's words of wisdom were more appealing to you than those of Wendy Richard?!!!

Timothy Lumsden:

Did you know Ronnie Corbett's middle name is Balfour?

brian:

Yes, indeed, Ronnie Corbett can bowl. He is a fast bowler. Always has two short-legs.

D.Lock:

Kyle Coetzer was born in Aberdeen, where Ronnie Corbett once performed at the Queen Alexandra Theatre. Small world.
