EVERY area famous for its nightlife attracts its fair share of truculent punters and Birmingham's gleaming Broad Street is no exception.
Take last night when a Glaswegian famous for tough-talking and somewhat uncompromising demeanour strode along the Golden Mile accosting revellers and bar staff.
But Home Secretary John Reid was not there to sample the heady pleasures of its clubs, pubs or restaurants but to check out how businesses and police ensure that Broad Street has become a relatively trouble-free area.
He came away very impressed - and rightly so.
High-visibility police patrol, taxi marshalls, a ban on alcohol in the street and an end to cheap drink promotions have helped.
A 27 per cent reduction in the number of alcohol-related incidents since licensing laws were relaxed is proof of the success.
We are glad Mr Reid walked away pleased by what he saw.
The alternative would be too alarming to contemplate!

I feel Open Internet site Explorer is excellent (and I just have the free version - am attempting to make some dollars being in a position to afford the upgrade). It generally shows links that Yahoo site explorer doesn't, that is extremely helpful (Yahoo in the end seriously isn't Google but we are all unhealthily dependent on their tool).I wish you the greatest of luck. I do imagine your future is in providing excellent resources that others do not have.

That is a very interesting post, Patents are needed for all new technology. If you come up with something be sure to get a patent on it or you may just have your technology copied. The Visto Philosophy mimics The Real Networks Philosophy... "When you can't sell your products on your own, just sue anyone else that does the job better."Getting A Patent Thanks

One of my favorite quotes is that one by Nelson Mandela about our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we powerful beyond measure. That speech gives me chills!

This sort of data must be valued by everyone - it's some thing that I believe we can all draw upon. I very very much like the theme you're making use of the following which I think is wordpress isn't it? I've been searching around for something simular but have yet to locate a thing suitable for my web site. I looked at the link on your footer and will try and download a copy of it for myself - thanks.
